SURAH LAHAB

                     بِسۡمِ اللهِ الرَّحۡمٰنِ الرَّحِيۡمِ

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.

تَبَّتۡ يَدَاۤ اَبِىۡ لَهَبٍ وَّتَبَّؕ                                         ‏ 

Perish the hands of the Father of Flame! Perish he.

 مَاۤ اَغۡنٰى عَنۡهُ مَالُهٗ وَمَا كَسَبَؕ                                 ‏ 

No profit to him from all his wealth, and all his gains.

 سَيَصۡلٰى نَارًا ذَاتَ لَهَبٍ ۖۚ                                      ‏ 

Burnt soon will he be in a Fire of Blazing Flame.

وَّامۡرَاَ تُهٗ ؕ حَمَّالَةَ الۡحَطَبِ‌ۚ                                       ‏ 

His wife shall carry the (crackling) wood - As fuel.

                                     فِىۡ جِيۡدِهَا حَبۡلٌ مِّنۡ مَّسَدٍ

A twisted rope of palm-leaf fibre round her (own) neck.
